The 2014 Roero Arneis is a single vineyard wine that is one of Piedmont’s hidden gems of indigenous white wines. Flavors of citrus, stone fruits and hazelnuts give a wonderful mouthfeel to this wine. The finish is vibrant with zesty acidity and crispness. This wine pairs perfectly with most dishes served and is a local secret of Piedmont locals!

Cantine Povero began to bottle wine in 1964 but Povero family members have always been winemakers. The third generation is now managing this promising enterprise, following the production process, from the grape to the bottle. Respecting nature is the keyword both in the vineyard and in the cellar. The careful work in the vineyards together with the innovative technologies used for the vinification process allow them to reach high quality standards with affordable prices. Povero’s ambition is to showcase the flavors and emotions of their wines, which express the uniqueness of their land.

GD Vajra “Barolo Albe”
Shiny ruby red in colour. Aromas of red fruits and plums combine with floral notes, mushroom and truffle. ‘Le Albe’ is a harmony of sophisticated and delicate flavors supported by ripe tannins and an elegant acidity. Albe represents the three sunrises that grace the three vineyards each day and blend those daily characteristics of the wine into a beautiful harmony of Nebbiolo.

GD Vajra “Langhe Rosso”
Red colour with violet hues, refers to the sweetness of a dark fruit with refined elegance. Intense and rich on the nose, it is both concentrated and harmonious: flowers and fruits to give way to hay, tobacco, spices. Bright summer berries on the palate with graphite veins lead to the discovery of a series of sensations.

2015 GD Vajra Dolcetto d’Alba DOC
Brilliant purple color. Small red fruits, sour cherry, and violet. An aromatic range that reminds of summer walks in the mountains… and exciting vinosity that reigns in the cellar in September. Soft, open in the mouth and balanced, it has delicate tannins accompanied by fresh acidity.
